Jenson USA Email Campaigns
Promotional Email Campaigns
We run Jenson USA’s promotional email in Listrak: brand sales, model-year closeouts, seasonal campaigns and partner offers. Each send is planned around a sale and built as hand-coded HTML from a shared library of modules.
Product grids carry live prices, compare-at prices and percent-off badges pulled from the store’s sale pages, and some sends add Listrak’s personalized product recommendations.

Task
Jenson USA runs a steady calendar of sales: brand events, model-year closeouts, seasonal pushes and partner offers. Each one needs an email that looks like the store, carries current prices and percent-off badges, and holds its layout in Outlook and on a phone. The challenge was to turn that calendar into a repeatable system: a library of email modules, product data taken from the live site, and sends managed in Listrak.
Jenson USA, the online bike and adventure shop in Riverside, California, sends its promotional email through Listrak. We run those campaigns. Each send is planned around a sale, built as hand-coded HTML from a shared library of modules, filled with product data from the live store and sent from Listrak.
The seven campaigns here are from the summer of 2026: a Scott Spark sale, gravel bikes under $2,999, a Scott Ransom closeout, bike lights, protective gear with The North Face, Osprey and Garmin, bikepacking and camping, and back to school.

Project Overview

Seven Campaigns
Every campaign leads with its offer: the code or deal in the promo bar, then a hero image and a short story. Below that come the products, a block of special offers, and the help desk, social and footer sections that close every Jenson email.

A Library of Modules
Each email is assembled from the same set of modules: promo bars, header and navigation, hero, headline with copy and a button, feature cards, trail dividers, product grids, special offers, and the help desk and footer. A new campaign changes what goes into the modules, not the structure, so the layout stays consistent from one send to the next.

Product Grids From Live Pages
Product tiles show the name, the sale price, the compare-at price and a percent-off badge, and link straight to the product page. We pull those details from the live sale pages on jensonusa.com with a browser agent instead of retyping them, and the product images are sized through the store’s own image CDN. We wrote about that workflow in Browser Agents for Marketing Ops.

Hand-Coded HTML
The emails are hand-coded HTML tables, 600 pixels wide. Outlook gets its own conditional wrappers so the layout holds in its Word-based renderer. Buttons are padded links rather than images, so they still read with images turned off. A media query below 600 pixels lets product tiles reflow on a phone. The templates declare a light color scheme, content images carry alt text, and decorative dividers are marked as decorative.

Personalization in Listrak
Subject lines and preheaders are set in Listrak for each send, and the footer uses Listrak merge tags for the unsubscribe and view-in-browser links. Some campaigns add Listrak product recommendation blocks, recommended products and personalized new arrivals, chosen for each subscriber by Listrak.
